I went into the woods...

Yes, what you have heard is true.  We (Rachel and I) felt inspired to tread on new turf besides the cliché facebook account.  Inspired as much as H. D. T. when he said "I went into the woods deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."  The plunge into the forest starts now.

    Have you read that book? Into The Wild? The guy in that book is all about your little quote. Perhaps you will go try to live off the land in Alaska too... just don't eat any poisonous roots. Then you will die. Like that guy did.

    Thanks--haven't read "into the wild", have read thoreau, though. well, vico has, and i've seen "dead poet's society." :)
