Today I won a prize. As a reward for my loyal usage of the JKB computer lab I received a voucher for a free print job and a 2GB flash drive. Jealous?
I had some awesome oatmeal this morning before school. Rachel made it with craisins and evaporated milk.
I wore my red Oceanside life guard shirt today and no one asked me if I was a life guard.
We got it one time when we went to the beach some years back. I had a white one but it got torn and died. It will be missed.
Little by little it gets cold here. I haven't resorted to gloves and scarfs yet but the day soon approaches.
We had chicken soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. These sandwiches are special because Rachel butters them up before grilling them. This is real butter, not some fool-mockery. I can still taste the buttery crunch of the bread and the warm squish of melted cheddar as I sink my teeth into the sandwich. Soups and grilled cheese are awesome in the chilly Fall weather we're experiencing.
I'm sleepy yet I have to work on a paper that is due tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a full nights sleep on Saturday.
Rachel is reading the second Hunger Games book called Catching Fire. If you haven't read book one and book two I highly recommend it. I read each one in about a day and a half. Intense! Not as interesting as the other books I'm reading and have to write papers on. I can't wait for Christmas break so I can read a million books. Rachel is almost done with the book so I can't spoil it for her but still have interesting chats about the story. I think she like the ending.

ReplyDeleteI did not win a free print job. But, the plumber did come and root my sink, so now it drains, and I got to do 3 batches of dishes (soon to be 4).
i LOVE LOVE that series!!!!!! Infact it's THG was the first book I read in months after bot reading for a while bc of Ezra and I have been reading ever since. I'm actually re-reading them which is something I NEVER do! Did you know after the author writes the 3rd book she will be writing a screenplay? Someone already bought the rights. I'm glad it's the actual author bc I think it's going to be tricky since a lot is the emotions Katniss is having. I'm so glad you guys are reading those. No one takes me seriously with those bc they are too busy with Twilight. Yawn!

Twilight? More like Borelight. I can't wait for a hunger games movie. Maybe Taylor Swift should be Katniss? Or someone who can be bright but dark at the same time.

It is true what people have been saying, we have a blog. Glad you can be part of our adventure. We're happy to have a little girl, someone's got to do it. We're happy you guys are having a boy.
